Manifest your Vision using the Law of Vibration

Science and Metaphysics agree. The essence of all things is vibration. Science reveals that everything in the manifest universe is ultimately composed of packets of energy; quantized units vibrating at specific frequencies. Esoteric wisdom reveals that in the beginning, all things were created through sound (i.e. vibration); whether it be the "OM" of Eastern mysticism or the "Word"/Logos of Western spirituality.

Our thoughts, feelings and actions also have their own particular rates of vibration. These vibrations will set up resonance with whatever possesses identical frequency. In other words, your thoughts are inseparably connected to the rest of the universe.

This is why it is so essential to be a close observer of yourself. As you think, feel and act, so you create the primary vibration of your being. This fundamental vibration then creates resonance with identical vibration frequencies in the universe. The result is an attraction of circumstances, people, challenges and opportunities in exact vibrational resonance with your own dominant vibration frequency.

This principle lies at the heart of visualization techniques, affirmations and the whole personal development movement. When you visualize and repeat affirmations, you are helping to tune your very being to a specific vibrational frequency on the inner planes. Once that task is achieved, your mind comes into vibrational resonance with the object of your desires. Being now of the same frequency, this object (or goal) is inevitably attracted into your life.

However, for such methods to work, it does imply that you have changed your core vibration. This is very often the problem AND explanation as to why such techniques seem to fail for so many people. Over the course of many years, your inner conditioning is created from the habitual thoughts, feelings and actions that you engage in. This forms your self-image and creates the level of self-esteem you feel. It shapes the way you conceptualize the world you live in, as well as the way you respond to it. It is how you interpret your life experiences.

If a person simply mouths affirmations or writes goals out, without having touched the deep bedrock of their long-term conditioning, such activities will not have much effect. This is because the dominant vibration has not changed. You cannot go against what your self-image, and your predominant conditioning, say you are.

Thought is where it all begins. As your conscious mind dwells habitually on thoughts of a certain quality, these become firmly imbedded within the subconscious mind. They become the dominant vibration. This dominant vibration sets up a resonance with other similar vibrations and draws them into your life. This is easier to understand if you consider that from the metaphysical view, the whole universe IS MIND.

Hence, to draw what you wish into your life, you should begin with the mind, and make it your primary focus. Most people do things the other way around, and come up with practical techniques to generate their desires, and then go out and try them. However, when these methods are not in tune with your dominant vibration, then you will have great difficulty making the desired results come to pass. You will also feel most uncomfortable if they do. You have trained your mind in a certain way, you have set the thermostat at a certain level, and now you are trying to exceed the limits you have set upon yourself by sheer force.

The trap most people fall into is that they condition their future with expectations from their past. It's like driving with your eyes fixed on the rear view mirror the whole time. You cannot see where you are going because you are too busy looking back on past history. Is it any wonder that, for most people, the future DOES closely resemble the past?!

The problem is that, by focusing continually on what you have become as a result of past conditioning, you guarantee that you draw this same dominant vibration into the future. This is also why your desired future can seem so far away from you. It is vibrating at an alien frequency and hence, in a real sense, it IS very far away.

Instead, you have to first change the dominant vibration within. Once your dominant vibration is in harmony with what you seek, the latter must literally be "attracted" to you without excessive striving! It will seem easy in comparison to what came before. In a very real sense, you have to become what you seek on the inside before you can ever have it in physical reality.

There are several ways to gradually change the dominant vibration of your inner being, and begin to resonantly attract what you seek. One important thing to do is to have a clear vision of your life as you want it to be; completely independent of the circumstances of your present or past. Lack of absolute clarity about their desired future could well be the number one reason why people fail in life.

You are creating something new from the universal intelligence, and drawing it into your reality. You do NOT have to base this upon the past, your perceived weaknesses, or anything else that derives from your limited self-image.

A good way to gain clarity is to write down in detail the attainment of what you seek. What would it look like? How would you feel if you achieved it? What difference would it make to your life? It may take you days, or even weeks, to create this vision, but it is time well spent.

By creating a vision of your desired state and putting energy into it regularly, you use mind power to shape the very stuff of creation. You create this imagined "reality" in your mind to the point where your subconscious actually believes it to be physical reality and goes about making it so. It will attract the circumstances, the people, and the opportunities you need to bring about the vision you have created.

If you are doubtful about this, consider for a moment that you are doing this anyway. The only difference is that you may be unaware you are doing it. If so, your overall vibration is incoherent, and hence your results fluctuate wildly. By becoming conscious, you take conscious control of the creative process and can learn to manifest at will.

Another way to change your vibration rate is to act "as if". If you had already attained what you seek, how would you think and act? Well, start thinking and acting that way right now. Again, this helps to impress the dominant vibration you choose upon your subconscious mind. Again, you have been doing this all your life anyway. Simply take conscious deliberate control of the process from now on. For instance, Cary Grant is known to have said:

"I acted like Cary Grant for so long, I became him."

Taking time to meditate regularly on the truth that all is vibration, seeing this reality in all is myriad guises, will also help reinforce it upon your mind - both conscious and subconscious. You will begin to believe it, and what you believe is what you act upon.

The reason most people achieve very little in comparison to what they are capable of is because they have no vision for the future whatsoever. Focused, single-minded concentration upon a vision you seek to create is what will actually cause it to happen. You have to read your description every day (preferably twice or more), and then vividly imagine it. Begin to live that reality now in your mind's eye, and you make its future manifestation all the more rapid. Do not even worry about how it will happen. Just do your part and let the universe, through the law of vibration, do the rest.

The Law Of Giving And Receiving

The universe operates through dynamic exchange . . . giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.

Giving: It’s what it’s all about.

One of the greatest laws is the law of giving.

It is a phenomenal law.

Give freely and happily. Always form a habit of giving cheerfully.

Give first before you receive. Whatever energy you give will come back to you in an amazing way.

You may give away your time, for example, and it comes back to you much later from an unexpected source in an unexpected form in a way that benefits you greatly. You cannot insist on a particular way and time it will come back to you, but you can be assured it will come back in the best way for you.

Give. Give. Give. And do so cheerfully and freely. It is the energy behind the giving that matters so do not give grudgingly. The law of cause and effect guarantees that you shall receive plenty for what you give.

Life is for giving…

Give what you have of your – time, money, smiles, love, compliments, anything. And you will get back what you do not have on you.

Give graciously and receive gratefully. Grace and gratitude are the energizing factors of giving and receiving.

By taking care of society and nature, you take care of yourself. Share with and give to nature and society often. It is the goose that lays the golden eggs, and it needs to be protected and nourished so that it can protect and nourish you.

Share. Give. Help others. In the proportion and to the extent that you cause others to build their wealth, so will you build your wealth.

Invest some time in and share your money with others. This enables others to build wealth. This is another great way for you to take care of society, to make it wealthy so that you may also get wealthier from it.

The Universe is all energy. Energy flows. Giving promotes this energy flow, placing you in harmony with the powers of the Universe. Whatever you wish to have, cause another being to have it first, and you will begin to have it in abundance.

Give and you will receive in multiples. For example, if you wish to have wealth, show others how to have wealth, and in an amazing way, you will soon find yourself wealthy. It is a very complicated system that works perfectly. Give cheerfully!

Share, share, share. It is an investment banked with the Universe that returns to you with amazing interest. Share gladly and genuinely.

What you wish to have, cause another to have. To have wealth and abundance cause another to have it. How do you cause others to have wealth?

Teach these lessons to your friends that are interested in wealth. Show them this book and others like it. Form study groups or mastermind circles with them. Where two or more are gathered, the whole is more than the sum of its parts.

Develop an awareness that enables you to look out for and see all opportunities where you can give something freely and cheerfully. You can give material things, your time, skills, or anything else.

Get out of the habit of thinking that you should receive something first before you give. That is not giving. That is an exchange.

Giving freely and cheerfully enables you to do business, if you wish to look at it that way, with the Universe. This is how it works: You give someone something that you have now with you - freely and cheerfully. The Universe, by the law, finds the best way to give back that energy to you in the form of something that you do not have with you. it gives you back in multiples, when it is most appropriate, in the most appropriate form. It is a magical process. Obviously, the more you give, the more magic you create for yourself. Life starts to work for you.

Develop a strong desire and persistence to give cheerfully and freely.

In your goal setting, remember to include several goals that are about free and cheerful giving.

Giving, under the law of cause and effect, is one of the most powerful actions you can take.

It returns in multiples, sevenfold. You cannot afford to leave out giving in your life plan. You cannot afford to leave it to chance occurrence.

Develop giving into a habit, something you do naturally without having to think of it. This makes you into a consistent and persistent giver and the Universe will work for you.

Give spontaneously.

Work on the habit of giving until you get to the point where you enjoy giving. Enjoy it thoroughly.

It is ok to think and know that when you give you will get back something from the Universe. You do not have to pretend you are not interested in receiving a reward for giving.

Expecting reward is good. In fact, expecting a reward is empowering a reward to come to you.

The violation of the law of giving comes when you start expecting to receive something back from the same being you give to, saying "Well, I did this for you so you should do that for me." In fact demanding a particular reward back is a violation. It makes you "trading" minded rather than "cheerful and free giving" minded. Never ask for or expect payback" from those you give to. The reward you receive will come from a source and a time and in a form that the Universe finds best suited for you.

You always have something to give. Time, complements, talent, money, knowledge, share a book, etc.

Giving has one bonus effect: it shows you what you have but did not know you had. Say you wished to have wealth. You then decide to give wealth first by helping others learn how to have wealth. You read books such as these, help where you can with such knowledge, share these kind of books, and so on. In that process, magically, you end up realizing you had a whole lot of wealth and wealth capabilities that you previously thought you lacked.

You are surrounded with abundant opportunities to give, but you only see them when you decide to start seeing them.

Learn also to receive graciously and happily. Do not feel uncomfortable receiving. You deserve it and by receiving, you are in harmony with the law of giving and receiving.

The trick to giving is to not force it upon those you give to.Offer your gift freely and cheerfully. Show your hand. Do not shove. Show. If the receiver does not wish to take your gift, respect that cheerfully. Do not get offended if your gift is not accepted. Allow the other person their full nature of freedom of choice. And do not make a person dependent on you. When a person becomes dependent on your gifts unnecessarily, you have not done them any good because you have reduced their belief and ability in themselves.

Here is a likely scenario. Imagine a person who does not have much in material possessions to give and share with others. But this person is very charming and kind. The person gives a thousand compliments to people he or she comes across without even getting one compliment back. This person uplifts their mood and confidence by finding ways to encourage and compliment them. But this person never gets a compliment back from anybody. Well, not to worry. The Universe keeps its accounts perfectly. This person’s giving builds credit in the universal system. One day, by the law of cause and effect, of giving and receiving, this person somehow gets the bicycle he or she has always wanted -just when the person needed it - in a way that looks like a miracle. It could be by winning some competition, or having it given to them by a stranger, or one of a countless other possibilities, what people call luck. That is how giving works. Sometime the Universe takes little things that you have, can give, and do give, and it puts them into one big thing that you do not have and require and it gives that to you at a perfect time.

All other things held constant, to the extent that an individual or society shares and gives in the right way, so will they have wealth and happiness. Now you know how to do business with the Universe, so to speak.

The Universe itself is a giving Universe, for life is for giving. You give and you receive sevenfold – you actually are rewarded for your kindness. The Source, Life, is all about giving, and the intelligence that runs the Universe honors your giving always, all ways. Give cheerfully! Everything in life is a gift. Especially with regard to wealth and happiness, never cease to cause others to have wealth and happiness, and you will have wealth and happiness in multiples! But what goes with giving? Receiving. And what goes with that? Gratitude...Let's have a look at that tomorrow.

In the mean time make this commitment.

I will put the Law of Giving into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1. Wherever I go, and whomever I encounter, I will bring them a gift. The gift may be a compliment, a flower, or a prayer. Today, I will give something to everyone I come into contact with, and so I will begin the process of circulating joy, wealth and affluence in my life and in the lives of others.

2. Today I will gratefully receive all the gifts that life has to offer me. I will receive the gifts of nature: sunlight and the sound of birds singing, or spring showers or the first snow of winter. I will also be open to receiving from others, whether it be in the form of a material gift, money, a compliment or a prayer.

3. I will make a commitment to keep wealth circulating in my life by giving and receiving life’s most precious gifts: the gifts of caring, affection, appreciation and love. Each time I meet someone, I will silently wish them happiness, joy and laughter.

7 Keys to Having a Positive Attitude

Why do some people have such a great attitude and others a negative one? Well, I wondered the same thing and through my research I found seven keys that those with a positive mental attitude all share. How do you rate?

1) Choose Your Attitude in Advance:
When you wake up, you have a choice. You can be in a good mood or a bad mood. You also choose your attitude. You can wake up and mutter to yourself, "This is gonna be a cruddy day," or you can tell yourself, "This is gonna be a great day!" This choice is the start of a great attitude.

2) Visualize Success:
Runners in the Boston Marathon picture themselves crossing the finish line. Picture yourself having a successful day. Self-visualization is a key factor in having a positive mental attitude. Will it work 100% of the time? I wish it would. However, by visualizing your success, you'll be able to have a better handle on what does happen, and having a better chance of making it happen.

3) Demonstrate Humor, Energy, and Enthusiasm:
We call these three items the magic ingredients. Without them, creating a positive mental attitude will be difficult. There is normally humor in every situation. Finding it is key. Sometimes you'll need to stretch and dig a little deeper to find the humor in a situation. But once you do, you'll feel so much better. Energy is important because without some energy in your attitude, you'll be dragging behind everyone. Energy is closely related to the third ingredient, enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is contagious; let's start an epidemic!

4) Resist Negative Influences:
It's a fact. When we have a negative experience with a company, we'll tell more people about it than if we have a good experience with the same company. Many times, when you hear that someplace wasn't very good, you'll believe the person who told you and choose not to do business with that company. However, you may only be hearing half the story. Check things out for yourself. Especially if the negativity involves a person you work with or know. We've all heard negative things about someone we didn't know and then when we had the opportunity to meet them ourselves, we find that they're not as bad as someone had alluded to. In fact they might be nice, but you need to be the judge. Take negativity out of your life. Steer clear of those who drag you down and say negative things. Being around other positive people is a good start.

5) Be a Whatever-it-Takes Person:
This means, be a problem solver. Life is going to put obstacles in front of all of us. How we go around those obstacles is key. There's normally a good answer to every problem put in front of us. Dale Carnegie said it best. Ask yourself, "What is the worst thing that can happen here?" Then move up from that.

6) Embrace Change:
Expect it and Accept it: Some people are very good at handling change and some resist it. The major key to handling change is to accept it; deal with it. In most cases there's little we can do to stop it anyway.

7) Be Grateful for What You Have:
Many people have so much and yet those same people are often the ones that constantly complain. Why wait for some life-altering experience to be grateful? Be grateful, now.

These are the seven keys to having a positive mental attitude. Put them into practice and you will be amazed at the difference they can make.

5 Reasons to Clear Clutter From Your Life

There are 2 kinds of clutter: Physical clutter (things) and mental clutter (thoughts, usually about all of the things). Both take up room and both cause you to lose sight of what you really want. When you begin to clear out the physical clutter, you can start to see the mental clutter. You will find that the physical stuff is just a way for you to try and hide from the mental baggage you're carrying around.

Physical Clutter

1. It takes up too much space! There is only so much room in your life. After you fill up your closet, it moved into the bedroom, then takes over the rest of the house. Then the basement, and then you're renting out a storage facility. The majority of this stuff is meaningless, but it represents the need to fill a hole. If this is you, it doesn't appear to be working, does it?

2. You can never find anything. Because of all the stuff, you are spending more time searching and trying to remember where you put things. You probably have multiples, and continue to buy more, because you can't find the orginals. Clearing out the stuff will leave you with what you need, and keep you organized so you know exactly where everything is.

3. It stresses you out. See the first two points. How can you possibly relax with stuff invading your life? Your home should be a place where you can relax and feel good.

4. It drains your energy. Picture this: You wake up in the morning to a clean bedroom. You walk down the hall, not tripping on anything. You get ready for work in a bathroom that is clean, and you don't knock over bottles, brushes, or tubes. You make coffee in the kitchen, which is clean. No dirty dishes staring back at you from the sink. How do you think you feel this morning? Good, ready to start the day (on time)? Think of the opposite scenario...you wake up, clothes all over the floor, nothing clean to wear. You trip on the dogs' squeaky toys and step on a pointy, toy truck on the way to the bathroom. Trying to wash your hair you realized you've run out of shampoo and you can't remember if you bought a replacement bottle (or where you put it). You note that you have to pick up more shampoo (already mental clutter). When you're done, you stumble into the kitchen, running late and realize you're out of coffee and there are no clean mugs anyway. Note to self, buy more coffee....How relaxed are you after this start to the day?

5. It causes you to procrastinate. When I want to procrastinate, cleaning is a great excuse. Why start on what really matters to you, when you need to vaccuum the floors? No time to work out today, since you have to do laundry. Can't put an hour of writing on your book in, since the dishes need to be washed before dinner.

All of that physical clutter serves to keep you stuck. It's not the "stuff" that matters so much, it's what the stuff represents and creates that causes problems in your life. The stuff will eat you alive.

Imagine a life where you are organized and can easily keep track of things. You know how much shampoo and coffee you have, and where the extras are kept. You rarely lose things and you're not constantly distracted, trying to remember loose details (like to buy more shampoo and coffee and when the dog has to go to the vet, and where your daughter's soccer game is).

The freer your mind, the freer your life. When your physical space is organized, your mind is relaxed and free.

How To Develop The "Wealth Mindset" - Secrets of The Rich

In this article, I’m going to explain to you how to achieve the mindset of wealth. For people who have this mindset, they can create money out of thin air and basically at will. For people lacking this mindset, they won’t enjoy the same level of financial abundance that they possibly could.

Here are the 7 hot tips on how to develop a wealth mindset:

1. Believe that you deserve wealth. You have to believe that you deserve it. If you don’t believe, you will overlook untold opportunities. If you don’t believe you deserve wealth, you will sabotage your own efforts. If you’re wanting to attract wealth but don’t believe you deserve it, it’s like driving a car pressing both the gas and the brake at the same time. It doesn’t work.

2. Develop an “opportunity consciousness.” Look around and begin to ask yourself, “How can I add more value? How can I make things faster, easier, quicker, less hassle, more fun for people? How can I make money solving this challenge? What can I do to solve this problem and make money doing it?” The bigger the problem you solve, the more wealth will pour into your life. The more you serve others, the more wealth you will achieve.

3. Organize your life to matter more to others. The more you make your time and life valuable to others, the more wealth you will have. Period. End of story. Organize your life to matter more. Develop more valuable skills, network more with high achievers, and focus on serving people.

4. Begin to think in terms of passive income. Develop passive income as soon as possible. Passive income is something you do once and get paid multiple times for it. It’s the real secret of the rich. If you are always selling your time in exchange for money, your income is limited because your time is limited. I cannot emphasize the importance of passive income enough. Visualize wealth.

5. Visualize yourself making lots of money (or whatever the definition of wealth is for you). Visualize total financial abundance flowing toward you. There really is total abundance. You can tap into it. It’s there for the taking.

6. Cancel out negative thoughts. Vigilantly guard your mind as to what kind of ideas you put into it. If you put garbage into your mind, you’ll get garbage results. If you have great ideas, you’ll get great results. Monitor your internal dialogue and monitor what other people are saying to you, especially regarding money matters, finances, and wealth. If they’re dead broke, run away as fast as you possibly can. If they’re mega-wealthy, pay attention and hang on their every word!

7. Think about money as energy. When you pay out or receive money, it’s really a measure of the value of the energy you’re exchanging. If you’re getting $20.00 an hour, you’re saying that the energy you’re putting out to create the value that you’re creating is worth $20.00 an hour. If you want to make more, figure out how to raise your energy that you’re putting out and how to deliver more value to others in the same time.

There you have it my friend. Using these white-hot tips, I’ve been able to double my already substantial income. You can do the same. Wealth doesn’t discriminate. It wants you as much as you want it. Just get out there, use these tips, and attract that total abundance into your life.

You can do it because you are unstoppable!

Everything in life is a gift. Especially with regard to wealth and happiness, never cease to cause others to have wealth and happiness, and you will have wealth and happiness in multiples! But what goes with giving? Receiving. And what goes with that? Gratitude...Let's have a look at that in my next post.

Give what you want to receive

"What you sow is what you reap."

We all know (don't we?) that the energy we put out into the world comes right back to us. The experiences we have in our lives are always reflecting our thoughts and feelings - the energy we are emitting. Well, that is my belief anyway.

And according to the Law of Attraction , it doesn't really matter whether you believe it or not. It still affects your every experience in life. If you're not already sold on the idea, try paying attention to what you're thinking and feeling over the coming week, and notice what's going on in your life at the same time. You'll be amazed at the corelation!

Whatever it is you want to receive more of in your life, try giving more of that to those around you. Give love, money, attention, support and you will receive love, money, attention and support – just so long as you give it from a place of genuine love and caring for others. This is absolutely key.

Give what you want to receive, but don't give in order to receive.
If you give in order to receive, you will negate the receiving effect. This is because your underlying intention is based in a feeling of lack - that is the energy you’re emitting and therefore you will continue to attract that lack.

But when you focus on genuinely seeking to help and serve others, you will discover, in many surprising ways, that you are receiving much of the same - and often much, much more - back into your own life.

If you're new to the Law of Attraction, why not try this as an experiment over the coming week and share your experiences here?

Compassion and Forgiveness

The following information is a gift to be used and shared with others. The information may be quoted and used in various media.

Forgiveness As A Powerful Healing Tool

Forgiveness is a powerful healer that is identified as an emotional, physiological component of our human being and energy system. Our energy system includes our physical body, our mind and thoughts, and emotions as well as our spirit. Forgiveness helps us to move forward, release our burdens, and restore our beings. Forgiveness of others and ourselves can heal our hearts and soul, mending our energy bodies like a golden elixir. The lack of forgiveness which may be about ourselves or others is how we continue to be bound to karmic patterns which perpetuates repetition of lessons.

Frequently, we do not forgive ourselves for mistakes or occurrences from the past. Forgiving ourselves can heal our heart and being releasing bound energy that creates the space for loving energy to reside. Ask yourself these questions:

Do I feel compassion for people? Do I feel compassion for children or babies? Do I feel compassion for animals?

Exercise: Compassion and Forgiveness

The shortness and simpleness of this exercise does not indicate the powerful nature of the effects that are gleaned from its effects. Compassion and forgiveness are components of the heart chakra, physical heart and region of the chest, both front and back within the physical body.

Energy Locations of Compassion and Forgiveness

As components of the heart region, compassion and forgiveness are linked in healing ourselves and extending this healing energy towards other people within our environment. It is easier to forgive someone when we can hold compassion for them. The three questions above are designed to help you get in touch with the compassion and forgiveness that you can find for other people or animals. This helps us identify the feeling and actually locate this feeling within our physical body. If you feel more compassionate towards young children say babies up to the age of two or three years old than hold the vision of that feeling of protection and compassion for this age.

If you are able to relate to animals than hold the vision of animals who need your protection, compassion and forgiveness. Start the exercise your breath inhaling and exhaling gently three times. This is a time of releasing so that you can be present. Now connect to the feeling of compassion for children, babies or animals. Wait until you notice the location of this feeling within your body. This is a process that unfolds. No need to rush it. There is no time limit here. You may wish to play some quiet flute music, consistent repetitve drum rhythm.

This can be a powerful exercise to do. You can add one more significant step to this exercise. Go through all the steps and shut your eyes. At the end, open your eyes before a large mirror. Look directly into the mirror, into your own eyes and feel the compassion and forgiveness.

I have discovered, when doing this exercise in groups, that some people feel compassion and forgiveness in the heart while others will identify this feeling in their throat and heart and others will identify their solar plexus or spleen area. The location where you feel the compassion and forgiveness may be related to your past and what is going on with you at this time. One specific area of the body does not indicate a better or preferred location.

Repeat this exercise at least once each day for 20-60 seconds. We are just beginning to understand the relationship between our feelings/emotions and thoughts and our physiology. Compassion can positively change your physiology.

For Couples, Parents and Children and Friends.

Sit across from your friend. Shut your eyes. Identify the feelings of forgiveness and compassion for children or animals. Visualize either of these connections and hold this awareness until you become aware of the feelings within your body. Place your hand upon the area of yourself where you are aware of the feeling and allow the sensation to expand, washing over your entire body. Now allow this energy to include self- forgiveness. Stay with this awareness as long as is needed. When you are ready open your eyes and look into the eyes of your friend. If your partner is not done wait for them without movement or comment, in stillness. When you are both looking into the eyes of the other hold your focus on self-forgiveness. Feel the energy. Breath together three breaths in and three breaths out. You do not need to make any decisions about what needs to be done about it. Just stay with your awareness. When you are ready, you can move. You may wish to record your awarenesses before you share together.

Distant Forgiveness and Compassion Exercise

If you cannot share the same physical space with someone who you wish to do forgiveness exercises invite the presence of that person to be with you and do the exercise as if they were present. Imagine you are looking into their eyes when you speak your truth. The eyes are a window to the soul. This exercise can also be done with someone who is no longer upon the planet. This exercise can change the dynamics of your interior being which shifts the energy of any relationship whether the being is present upon the earth or not.

Can those people with whom you have a close relationship feel your forgiveness even if you don’t tell them? Yes. Does it matter if they are in close proximity? No. The process of forgiveness unfolds and will begin to shift your being.

The Results of Forgiveness Upon our Etheric Fields

The effect of forgiveness within the etheric field is palpable. Forgiveness affects our thoughts, our emotions, our spirit and our physiology. Energetically these activities open our hearts releasing negativity towards the self and others. The act of forgivness is an act of compassion. These two components are elements of the heart chakra and heart region of the physical body. When we engage in forgivness and compassion the effects create a wave of vibration that moves through the entire physical body and influences all the etheric bodies and chakra systems. The colors within the etheric field that are connected with forgiveness are: pink; gentle love, green; healing and growth, and blue; peacefulness. Sometimes a rainbow effect may occur around the person too. The activities of forgiveness help to rebalance our being in the present and replace negative patterns.

Forgiveness releases a sheath of energy that lays upon and within the etheric field. As we continue to practice forgiveness these layers allow the etheric field to become more and more clear. The action of forgiveness also connects to various thoughts, experiences and emotional states which are related to the corresponding chakra(s). Releasing energy and thoughts through forgivness allows a chakra or several chakras to lighten and unburden which means they function without being encumbered by the weight of negative energy.

Forgiveness can shift shame, blame and guilt, releasing negative energy which may be linked to generational messages, thoughts about self, the inner cirtic, secrets or other negative self talk. Forgiveness allows us to be present in the moment. Practicing forgiveness is a useful technique for changing consciousness.

How often is it best to practice forgiveness of self and others?

These exercises can be incorporated as a monthly exercise or something that can be done at the end of each day before falling asleep. When we become more aware of the need to forgive this can be done in the moment. The more we participate in the practice of compassion and forgiveness the more aware we will become of the burdens and judgements we carry towards ourselves and others. Through our heightened awareness the burdens of energy that no longer serve us, which contaminate our etheric field and physical body will become lighter and lighter. Being a model for others and not holding energy burdens will be inspiring whether they know you are doing these practices or not. Each being and the work we do is important to the evolution of consciousness. Each of us is important as we contribute our actions and vibrational pattern through our etheric field to the pool of beings and morphogenic fields that effect postive change upon our planet.

Forgiveness of others does not mean that we allow ourselves to stay in a situaion that is abusive in any way.

Life Stinks? How To Detach From Your Garbage Truck.

Life stinks.

If that statement bubbled up in your thoughts recently then you may be attached to life decaying garbage truck thinking. Simply put, if you stuff your mind with garbage you will create stinky outcomes. If you focus upon all that is bad in your life you will only add to the garbage dump that is becoming your daily experience.

Garbage in, garbage out.

Let's say you're rushing to get to work on the 405 freeway when another driver cuts in front of you and slams on the brakes. You toot your horn forcefully to give him a warning as you avoid a whopper of a fender bender. He responds with a slew of obscenities and the ubiquitous finger punctuator. It happens - a lot - if you live in a busy metropolis such as Los Angeles.

In that moment you have a choice. You can raise your fickle finger of fate in response or smile and count your blessings that you're not that guy. Yikes, what a miserable way to live. By smiling you kept negative feelings and energy right where it came from - from that guy. If you responded with your own favorite flip off gesture you would have taken on his garbage as yours. Pissed off, your focus is negatively directed. You will cloud your vision with so much dust and dirt and wonder why you cannot see.

"You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses." - Ziggy, Tom Wilson comic strip panel

Where focus goes, energy flows.

Some people are like garbage trucks. They run around packed to the hilt with garbage. Their life energy is full of anger, frustration and disappointment. Their conversations are filled with complaints. They find excuses and reasons why they can't be, do or have what they want blaming others for their misfortune. The acronym for Finding Excuses And Reasons is FEAR and when you're in fear you Fight Everything And Reek of stinky experiences.

With a mind full of garbage these car wrecks waiting to happen will constantly seek places to dump their load. And they will dump it on you. They can dump all they want. It is up to you whether or not you take on their garbage for yourself. If you take on the garbage that can be found in the misguided lives of many people and events in your life then you, too, become a stinky garbage truck creating rotten experiences spreading your trash and stinking up your life. What's worse is as queen of your own compost heap you'll get used to the smell.
Be mindful of your thoughts. Pay attention to the words that come out of your mouth. Are you a trash talker? I'm not talking about using a four letter word or two to add a little color to your expression - as long as it's positive. Are you focused upon what's not right in your life and in your world? What you lack instead of what you have? Are you finding a lot to complain about? If so, you're attached to a stinky garbage truck life perspective picking up and dumping more trash every where you go.

"Thoughts are things; they have tremendous power. Thoughts of doubt and fear are pathways to failure. When you conquer negative attitudes of doubt and fear you conquer failure. Thoughts crystallize into habit and habit solidifies into circumstances." - Bryan Adams, Canadian rock singer-songwriter and photographer

To let go of the garbage bags you've been carrying around to stink up the place, find the value in every experience, good and bad. This gem is often disguised as a life-affirming lesson to be learned. Take the note and apply the lesson to clean up your act or create more of the good stuff. Speak and act in the direction of your dreams and your days will reflect the sweetest smelling rose in the garden of life.

Are Your Personal Values Aligned With Your Path to Success?

Having a clear understanding of your personal values is critical to your success. Without this knowledge you won’t know what really matters to you, what motivates you and why you are doing what you are doing. You’ll be in conflict with what you really want and your life will be unfulfilling and stressful.

If you want to be successful you need to make sure your personal values and your goals in life are aligned. If they aren’t you will struggle to find motivation and sustain the enthusiasm and energy you need to travel the road to success!

You also use your personal values to evaluate your actions, or other peoples actions, after they have taken place. When you use values in this way they can have a profound effect on your feelings. For example, if you do something that is in direct conflict with your personal core values it will leave you feeling bad about yourself.

Define Personal Values for me?

Personal values are those things that are most important to you, those things that must be true for you to lead a happy and fulfilled life. Your values are also those things that really motivate you. When you are living in accord with your personal values you find life fulfilling and satisfying.

Values are not set in stone, they usually don’t change rapidly like beliefs can, but if you think back over your life, you will be able to trace the development of personal values.

Think back to your childhood – are exactly the same things that were important to you as a child also as important to you now as an adult? How about 5 years ago, 10 years ago?

When you were a child your values probably came from parents or other significant adults. Later on, you picked up values from your peers, your social environment, and other influences you allowed in to your life. As an adult the development of personal values continues for you. However if you have values that are not serving you well, it is possible to change them!

How to List personal Values

Your personal values can be in many different areas: your values in life, work, family…

The best place to start to list personal values for you is to look at your values in life, you can look at other, more specific areas later on. Examples of life values are things like: honesty, integrity, family, freedom…

You have already seen that the definition of personal core values is simple – but discovering your personal values is much harder.

It’s so easy to confuse values with other things like beliefs. It is also very common to feel you should value something as a result of pressure from your parents and your friends when in fact it is just not a value for you.

The key is to remember that you define personal values as the things that are important to YOU…

So just sit down quietly with a piece of paper and repeatedly ask yourself the question:

“What is really important about life for me?”

Just keep asking and answering as honestly as you can – don’t answer as you think you ought to. Write down your answers.

Once you’ve written down your answers then you can try a second exercise:

Think back to a time when you were really motivated to do something, anything – go on a journey somewhere, propose to your spouse, help someone who was in difficulty, climb a mountain…

Think back into that time, imagine where you were and how you felt as you became motivated until you can discover the feeling you had at the moment you were motivated – maybe it was a desire to discover something new, love for your future spouse…

That initial emotion is almost certainly one of your core values… Write it down!

Go through these two exercises a few times until you have 10-20 values written down. Then look at them carefully. Are these really your personal values, do they represent who you really are?

Now compare them with each other, ask yourself “is this value more important to me than that value”. By doing this you will be able to arrange them into an order of importance.

Do your personal values align with your path to success?

Now you’ll know both what is really important to you in life and where your priorities are!

This puts you streets ahead of anyone who has never taken the time to do this exercise:-)

Finally ask yourself

"Am I living my life according to my values and priorities?"

If you answer "no", you need to work out what you are going to do to make sure you are living congruently?

PS … You can read more about congruency in future post here on my Daily Dose of Good my article: Why You Must Bring Congruency Into Your Life.

Self-Confidence Builders: 6 ways you can start feeling better about yourself, starting now

When your self-confidence soars, everything benefits – your body, your relationships, possibly even your pocketbook.

Here are six simple things you can do today to build your self-confidence.

1. Listen to the way you talk to yourself. Experts say that a full 70 to 80% of our thoughts are negative, and that can eat away at your self-confidence - day in and day out. It may sound corny, but changing your inner monologue can help your self-confidence in untold ways.

Here are some ideas:

Set a timer for random, intermittent periods of time. When the alarm goes off, immediately tune in to find out what you were thinking about. If it’s negative, make a conscious effort to bring your thoughts immediately into something more positive.

Write your own affirmations. Say them twice daily – or record them into a tape recorder and listen to them in your car or while doing daily chores.

Ask a friend to listen for negativity in your conversations. When negativity crops up, immediately say something positive.

Listen to behavior modification audios that target negative self-talk. These can be really effective – and come in both subliminal and non-subliminal varieties.

2. Look your best. Superficial as it may sound, the way you feel about your appearance on a daily basis can really build self-confidence. Go through a stack of magazines and tear out photos of hairstyles and clothing that are appealing to you. How can you incorporate some of those images into your present look? It takes just minutes a day to polish your appearance, and you’ll instantly look and feel more self-confident. When you look and feel more confident, you’ll act more confident. And when you act more confident, you’ll be more confident.

3. Stand up straight. When you are feeling down, you are more likely to slouch and frown, which can make a bad mood even worse. Next time you don’t feel like smiling, pull your shoulders back, stand tall, and smile. Before you know it, your smile will be genuine. And you will be exhibiting a more self-confident you to the world.

4. Examine the energy of your friends. What kind of energy do you emit with friends? What kind of energy do your friends emit? Here’s a good litmus test: How do you feel about yourself and the world immediately after you leave the company of your friend? If you feel down and critical, make an effort to be around more positive, self-confident people. Their energy will rub off on you.

5. Catalog your positives. Make a long list of all the accomplishments that you are proud of, and post it where you can see it every day. Now make a list of the personality characteristics that you are proud of. What makes you unique? Celebrate yourself and all the things that make you, you – without trying to change them.

6. Be grateful. Start your day by jotting down 5 things you are looking forward to. And end your day by writing 5 things you enjoyed. By acknowledging the blessings in our lives, we get a sense for the bigger picture and our larger life purpose, which is much, much more than the day-to-day obstacles of our lives.

I will have much more on building your self-confidence in future post, for now use the six simple steps . They work!

Clean Out the Clutter and Move Forward in Your Life

When spring rolls around, we often get busy cleaning our homes and clearing out the clutter. It certainly feels good to look around your home and notice everything neat, clean, and put in its place. Cleaning out the clutter around your house is a way of cleaning out your mental clutter, or "psychic vampires" that rob you of your vitality. A cluttered home symbolizes a cluttered, blocked mind.

Mental clutter is that unfinished business in your life that gnaws at you in the background of your consciousness. Your mental clutter may include the projects you started and never finished, the stack of paperwork on your desk, unsorted photos, old clothes taking up space in your closet, junk piled in your garage, etc.

These are things we notice, and tolerate on a daily basis. When left unattended for long periods of time, this clutter robs us of our energy and vitality. Think of all the times you have walked into your garage, noticed the mess, and thought "one day, I should get this cleaned up?" all the while feeling a twinge of guilt for procrastinating. There may be certain parts of your home or workspace that you avoid, just because looking at the mess leaves you feeling overwhelmed and drained. When you have a cluttered work or living space, your creativity and energy stay bound up in the clutter.

You must clear this clutter out if you want more from life and want to move forward in exciting ways. One way to start this process is by identifying and removing the energy drainers, or psychic vampires, that have been bogging you down. Clutter and disorganization are often at the top of the list. Removing these energy drainers frees you up to think, strategize, and act in new, productive ways.

So, how do you begin to clear out the clutter when there is so much of it that you don’t even know where to start? It’s simple. Pick one small space in your home and get busy! You will be amazed at the results. Make a commitment to yourself to spend ten to fifteen minutes per day for the next week sorting, organizing, rearranging, recycling, donating, and/or disposing of items in your home or workspace. Just start small. If your desk is covered with paperwork, pick one area of your desk and start organizing. You will find you get momentum going once you realize how good it feels to have that small space cleared. You may decide to move on and tackle another cluttered space, or you may just relish the good feeling that comes from having cleared out some clutter.

Once this process is under way, you will be amazed by the renewed energy you experience and the possibilities that surface for you!
