Why do some people have such a great attitude and others a negative one? Well, I wondered the same thing and through my research I found seven keys that those with a positive mental attitude all share. How do you rate?
1) Choose Your Attitude in Advance:
When you wake up, you have a choice. You can be in a good mood or a bad mood. You also choose your attitude. You can wake up and mutter to yourself, "This is gonna be a cruddy day," or you can tell yourself, "This is gonna be a great day!" This choice is the start of a great attitude.
2) Visualize Success:
Runners in the Boston Marathon picture themselves crossing the finish line. Picture yourself having a successful day. Self-visualization is a key factor in having a positive mental attitude. Will it work 100% of the time? I wish it would. However, by visualizing your success, you'll be able to have a better handle on what does happen, and having a better chance of making it happen.
3) Demonstrate Humor, Energy, and Enthusiasm:
We call these three items the magic ingredients. Without them, creating a positive mental attitude will be difficult. There is normally humor in every situation. Finding it is key. Sometimes you'll need to stretch and dig a little deeper to find the humor in a situation. But once you do, you'll feel so much better. Energy is important because without some energy in your attitude, you'll be dragging behind everyone. Energy is closely related to the third ingredient, enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is contagious; let's start an epidemic!
4) Resist Negative Influences:
It's a fact. When we have a negative experience with a company, we'll tell more people about it than if we have a good experience with the same company. Many times, when you hear that someplace wasn't very good, you'll believe the person who told you and choose not to do business with that company. However, you may only be hearing half the story. Check things out for yourself. Especially if the negativity involves a person you work with or know. We've all heard negative things about someone we didn't know and then when we had the opportunity to meet them ourselves, we find that they're not as bad as someone had alluded to. In fact they might be nice, but you need to be the judge. Take negativity out of your life. Steer clear of those who drag you down and say negative things. Being around other positive people is a good start.
5) Be a Whatever-it-Takes Person:
This means, be a problem solver. Life is going to put obstacles in front of all of us. How we go around those obstacles is key. There's normally a good answer to every problem put in front of us. Dale Carnegie said it best. Ask yourself, "What is the worst thing that can happen here?" Then move up from that.
6) Embrace Change:
Expect it and Accept it: Some people are very good at handling change and some resist it. The major key to handling change is to accept it; deal with it. In most cases there's little we can do to stop it anyway.
7) Be Grateful for What You Have:
Many people have so much and yet those same people are often the ones that constantly complain. Why wait for some life-altering experience to be grateful? Be grateful, now.
These are the seven keys to having a positive mental attitude. Put them into practice and you will be amazed at the difference they can make.

The Law Of Giving And Receiving
Giving: It’s what it’s all about.
One of the greatest laws is the law of giving.
It is a phenomenal law.
Give freely and happily. Always form a habit of giving cheerfully.
Give first before you receive. Whatever energy you give will come back to you in an amazing way.
You may give away your time, for example, and it comes back to you much later from an unexpected source in an unexpected form in a way that benefits you greatly. You cannot insist on a particular way and time it will come back to you, but you can be assured it will come back in the best way for you.
Give. Give. Give. And do so cheerfully and freely. It is the energy behind the giving that matters so do not give grudgingly. The law of cause and effect guarantees that you shall receive plenty for what you give.
Life is for giving…
Give what you have of your – time, money, smiles, love, compliments, anything. And you will get back what you do not have on you.
Give graciously and receive gratefully. Grace and gratitude are the energizing factors of giving and receiving.
By taking care of society and nature, you take care of yourself. Share with and give to nature and society often. It is the goose that lays the golden eggs, and it needs to be protected and nourished so that it can protect and nourish you.
Share. Give. Help others. In the proportion and to the extent that you cause others to build their wealth, so will you build your wealth.
Invest some money in financial services and institutions that lend money to others and enable others to build wealth. This is another great way for you to take care of society, to make it wealthy so that you may also get wealthier from it.
The Universe is all energy. Energy flows. Giving promotes this energy flow, placing you in harmony with the powers of the Universe. Whatever you wish to have, cause another being to have it first, and you will begin to have it in abundance.
Give and you will receive in multiples. For example, if you wish to have wealth, show others how to have wealth, and in an amazing way, you will soon find yourself wealthy. It is a very complicated system that works perfectly. Give cheerfully!
Share, share, share. It is an investment banked with the Universe that returns to you with amazing interest. Share gladly and genuinely.
What you wish to have, cause another to have. To have wealth and abundance cause another to have it. How do you cause others to have wealth?
Teach these lessons to your friends that are interested in wealth. Show them this book and others like it. Form study groups or mastermind circles with them. Where two or more are gathered, the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
Develop an awareness that enables you to look out for and see all opportunities where you can give something freely and cheerfully. You can give material things, your time, skills, or anything else.
Get out of the habit of thinking that you should receive something first before you give. That is not giving. That is an exchange.
Giving freely and cheerfully enables you to do business, if you wish to look at it that way, with the Universe. This is how it works: You give someone something that you have now with you - freely and cheerfully. The Universe, by the law, finds the best way to give back that energy to you in the form of something that you do not have with you. it gives you back in multiples, when it is most appropriate, in the most appropriate form. It is a magical process. Obviously, the more you give, the more magic you create for yourself. Life starts to work for you.
Develop a strong desire and persistence to give cheerfully and freely.
In your goal setting, remember to include several goals that are about free and cheerful giving.
Giving, under the law of cause and effect, is one of the most powerful actions you can take.
It returns in multiples, sevenfold. You cannot afford to leave out giving in your life plan. You cannot afford to leave it to chance occurrence.
Develop giving into a habit, something you do naturally without having to think of it. This makes you into a consistent and persistent giver and the Universe will work for you.
Give spontaneously.
Work on the habit of giving until you get to the point where you enjoy giving. Enjoy it thoroughly.
It is ok to think and know that when you give you will get back something from the Universe. You do not have to pretend you are not interested in receiving a reward for giving.
Expecting reward is good. In fact, expecting a reward is empowering a reward to come to you.
The violation of the law of giving comes when you start expecting to receive something back from the same being you give to, saying "Well, I did this for you so you should do that for me." In fact demanding a particular reward back is a violation. It makes you "trading" minded rather than "cheerful and free giving" minded. Never ask for or expect payback" from those you give to. The reward you receive will come from a source and a time and in a form that the Universe finds best suited for you.
You always have something to give. Time, complements, talent, money, knowledge, share a book, etc.
Giving has one bonus effect: it shows you what you have but did not know you had. Say you wished to have wealth. You then decide to give wealth first by helping others learn how to have wealth. You read books such as these, help where you can with such knowledge, share these kind of books, and so on. In that process, magically, you end up realizing you had a whole lot of wealth and wealth capabilities that you previously thought you lacked.
You are surrounded with abundant opportunities to give, but you only see them when you decide to start seeing them.
Learn also to receive graciously and happily. Do not feel uncomfortable receiving. You deserve it and by receiving, you are in harmony with the law of giving and receiving.
The trick to giving is to not force it upon those you give to.Offer your gift freely and cheerfully.
Show your hand. Do not shove. Show. If the receiver does not wish to take your gift, respect that cheerfully. Do not get offended if your gift is not accepted. Allow the other person their full nature of freedom of choice. And do not make a person dependent on you. When a person becomes dependent on your gifts unnecessarily, you have not done them any good because you have reduced their belief and ability in themselves.
Here is a likely scenario. Imagine a person who does not have much in material possessions to give and share with others. But this person is very charming and kind. The person gives a thousand compliments to people he or she comes across without even getting one compliment back. This person uplifts their mood and confidence by finding ways to encourage and compliment them. But this person never gets a compliment back from anybody. Well, not to worry. The Universe keeps its accounts perfectly. This person’s giving builds credit in the universal system. One day, by the law of cause and effect, of giving and receiving, this person somehow gets the bicycle he or she has always wanted -just when the person needed it - in a way that looks like a miracle. It could be by winning some competition, or having it given to them by a stranger, or one of a countless other possibilities, what people call luck. That is how giving works. Sometime the Universe takes little things that you have, can give, and do give, and it puts them into one big thing that you do not have and require and it gives that to you at a perfect time.
All other things held constant, to the extent that an individual or society shares and gives in the right way, so will they have wealth and happiness. Now you know how to do business with the Universe, so to speak.
The Universe itself is a giving Universe, for life is for giving. You give and you receive sevenfold – you actually are rewarded for your kindness. The Source, Life, is all about giving, and the intelligence that runs the Universe honors your giving always, all ways. Give cheerfully!
Everything in life is a gift. Especially with regard to wealth and happiness, never cease to cause others to have wealth and happiness, and you will have wealth and happiness in multiples! But what goes with giving? Receiving. And what goes with that? Gratitude...Let's have a look at that in my next post.

Giving Thanks at Thanksgiving
I have child and frequently struggle with how to teach him about gratitude and contentment. Frankly, it’s something I struggle with myself. So the Thanksgiving week carries with it that annual opportunity to teach them (and remind myself) about the things for which to be grateful. I don’t want the week to pass without having communicated with my child that Thanksgiving is much, much more than days off of school, lots of good food and a few football games on television.
It’s helpful to remember the origins of the holiday, so here’s a brief refresher course on Thanksgiving.
On September 6, 1620, a ship with just over 100 people on board left the shores of England en route to America. On board were Pilgrims—men, women and children in search of freedom from the religious persecution they had endured in Europe. Freedom they were willing to travel a world away to obtain.
However, that freedom came at a high price. Their cramped vessel sailed for two months across the Atlantic Ocean before reaching the shore of their new homeland. On their ship, the Mayflower, passengers had to endure wind-tossed seas and storms, scurvy and even death before sighting land.
Once ashore, the passengers and crew, many disease-ridden from the voyage, set about making a new home in a strange and unknown landscape. Having landed at Plymouth Rock (located in what would become known as Massachusetts) in November, it was not long before temperatures began to fall. Imagine facing that cold season having to build a colony and gather food with limited supplies, while you and/or many of your fellow settlers battled sickness and disease. By springtime, only half of the colonists had survived.
The Pilgrims' sacrifice was a high price to pay for the freedom they sought: thousands of miles away from civilization, harsh untamed country, dozens dying. All in support of a noble dream. And yet the Pilgrims were grateful.
As spring and summer rolled on the survivors were able plant crops with the help of local Indians and by fall, they had an abundance of food. They expressed that gratitude as a community and invited the Indians who had helped them to join in their three-day harvest feast and festival.
Fast forward to today.
I’m betting that if the Pilgrims who celebrated on that first Thanksgiving could see the dissatisfaction and frustration so often expressed at this time of year, despite the abundance we enjoy, they would truly be perplexed.
The Pilgrims had to struggle with how to meet their most basic human needs. They needed food, they needed shelter—they needed to survive the winter.
Here’s what I need to remind myself of—at a minimum, our basic human needs are being met. It’s likely that everyone reading this column knows where their next meal is coming from. It’s likely that none of us are particularly concerned about what the temperature will be outside when we go to bed tonight. And for most of us, our assets go way beyond food and shelter.
For example, we enjoy modern conveniences like dishwashers and microwaves. We drive comfortable cars. We get to choose from among an assortment of clothing what to wear each day.
And many of us will spend the holiday with family and friends gathered around us. Perhaps some more anticipated than others, but they are with us nonetheless.
Think about it. We have so much more than the Pilgrims did in that fall of 1621.
Ironically, many of the struggles we face in this modern life are directly related to all that we can enjoy. Our time and money get stretched because of an ever growing number of things to choose from. We often face self-imposed stress, particularly related to finances, because we buy bigger and better whether we can afford it or not.
Of course, it’s true that many of us face real-life problems like illness, strained relationships and others. And for some this time of year seems to amplify those things even more.
But we also have so much for which to be grateful.
I hope you’ll pardon the preachiness, but we need to slow down, give thanks, say thanks, and remember what we have—not what we don’t have.
I’m not pointing fingers because I’m in no position to do so. I am guilty of the very attitude I’ve described.
But all of us—and especially our children—will find life so much more enjoyable and meaningful when we learn the discipline of gratitude. (And it is a discipline, by the way. It does not come naturally.)
There’s a story to be told here—to our children and ourselves. The Pilgrims showed us how to be grateful for the simple things in life and to do so in the face of great sacrifice. They had so little, but were grateful in spite of it all. How can we who have so much not also be drawn to gratitude for all that we enjoy?

Expressing Gratitude
Every Month A Million and the Daily Dose Of Good
"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." Albert Schweitzer
Whatever life holds for us, we are indebted.
For life, for enjoyment, for happiness, peace, for well being.
For everything that we have, are and are going to be.
It is a privilege to be alive.
To be able to live and enjoy and give.
From the time of birth, we are in debt to a million influences.
To our miraculous physical creation – a million chemical reactions, transformations and creative forces.
To the people who fed us from the bottle, changed our diapers, cuddled us and gave us the physical touch that we needed, clothed us when we couldn't have done so ourselves …
We could have perished otherwise….
Clean water.
Fresh air.
Warm clothes and cuddly blankets.
Clean hygienic surroundings.
Roof over our heads.
Those who have touched and supported us mentally emotionally when we did not know any better.
No doubt, some experiences may have left emotional and physical scars- but for the most part there was some good.
The fact that we exist in this universe- makes us indebted to the creator who gave us life
Gratitude for not only the good things in our life, but also the problems, our mistakes.
And when we realize there is a loving source behind everything, we can be grateful.
Also for our surroundings, the wonder and beauty of nature that is immaculate.
When we feel gratitude, and acknowledge the source, we allow ourselves to feel joy and peace. We feel complete. The circle is complete. We have been given, we receive and we appreciate in gratitude.
Even the poorest of the poor can be rich if they have gratitude.
For the breath the breathe, the life they have, the little comfort they enjoy.
The little that the poor have is better than a feast at the rich with no gratitude or happiness.
Gratitude is wealth. Gratitude is joy.
Gratitude brings out the best in others and in us.
Gratitude releases the negative and brings in the positive.
We cannot be grateful without forgiving another.
We cannot be grateful and hold grudges and thoughts of retribution or revenge.
If someone has caused us to suffer loss or damaged us or our possessions to some degree and to this day cannot repay, should we be grateful?
Before we can experience gratitude in the face of wrong, we have to experience forgiveness. Of the event, the perpetuator, and of ourselves. Then we can go on and be grateful.
"When we harbor negative emotions toward others or toward ourselves, or when we intentionally create pain for others, we poison our own physical and spiritual systems….The challenge .. is to refine our capacity to love others as well as ourselves and to develop the power of forgiveness. Carolyn Myss, Anatomy of the Spirit
Underlying all this is belief.
Belief that all exists for our good.
Even if something terrible has happened.
Joni Eareckson was able to express gratitude in the face of the most devastating event that can happen – an accident that caused the loss of use of both arms and legs, leaving her totally dependent on another for her most basic needs. In gratitude she has written books on her life after the tragedy carried on living again.
Zig Ziglar expressed gratitude even in his darkest days of grieving when his daughter Susan passed away. In gratitude for the memories that she was able to give when she was alive. And in gratitude to God who has a plan for his life. He was able to carry on living through the pain, and embrace life again.
Gratitude is not an extraneous emotion that can be done with.
It is essential to our well being physically emotionally mentally and spiritually
It is the cornerstone of peace joy and connection to the source of all love and peace,
In gratitude we communicate with our creator.
For all that there is, that was and that will be.
Our creator has created us in love.
We reciprocate this in love and gratitude.
It is expressed in the love we give to ourselves.
It is expressed in the quality of our work, the depth of our experiences.
It is expressed in our relationships- the love we give to our fellow men because of the love which has been given to us.
If we can be grasp this fact, that we are expressing gratitude not only to the people who helped us, but knowing that behind it all, the orchestrating of all events is a wonderful and loving creator, we can continue to have the ability to be grateful.
In the face of whatever happens, there will be gratitude.
There is always something to be grateful for.
Whatever circumstance we are in, food will taste better, colors will look brighter, scents will smell better, water will taste sweeter, burdens will be lighter.
And if we focus on this, the thought and gratitude expands and it will attract more blessings and abundance.
This is the essence of the Law of attraction at work.
In acknowledgment of and together with a higher creative force for good.
"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." Albert Schweitzer

Discover The Power Of Gratitude To Unleash Unlimited Abundance And Happiness In Your Life
Consciously utilizing The Power Of Gratitude is an extremely important aspect of attracting to yourself the Abundance and Happiness that you desire and deserve in your life.
First, let's explore how sincere gratefulness works from a strictly scientific perspective and how, through our individual choice to develop a consistent habit of expressing heartfelt gratitude enacts the unwavering power of Universal Law to draw more to be grateful for.
As we've discovered in the Law of Vibration , everything within our universe broken down into it's purest form is a vibrating mass of atoms and subatomic particles. (Energy) Through the Law of Attraction , the energy (vibrations) that you resonate and project based on your thoughts, feelings, and emotions determines your "vibrational frequency" which broadcasts that frequency, attracts to it energy or vibrational frequencies that harmonize or resonate with it which determines the events, situations, and circumstances that you attract and eventually see manifest into your life.
What does that have to do with the Power Of Gratitude?
Absolutely Everything!
When you are in a sincere state of gratitude your energy (vibrational resonance) is one of acceptance and harmony. You resonate and as a result project a much higher vibrational frequency which is exactly what attracts to you the events, conditions, and circumstances that you desire.
To provide more clarity on the resonance created and projected by gratitude consider the following analogy...
Think of yourself as a giant magnet. Whatever you are feeling, whether it be love, fear, anger, happiness, anger, joy, gratitude, resistance etc. you are in essence creating a magnetic force that attracts and draws to you events, conditions and circumstances which are in direct correlation to what you are feeling. Fear of something creates a magnetic force that will attract more of what you fear. Expressing Gratitude for any situation projects a magnetic force that draws to you more of what you are expressing gratitude for.
In other words gratitude puts you in a harmonious vibrational resonance which attracts additional energies
At any time that you are NOT expressing gratitude for an outcome you are in essence resisting the outcome which places your focus on NOT WANTING that outcome. When this happens what are your thoughts and emotions fixated on? What you DON"T want, correct? That focus of NOT wanting creates a "magnetic force" which only serves to draw to you more of that which you are NOT WANTING or resisting.
Let's look at the difference between expressing gratitude and resistance in your day to day life...
When you experience an outcome that you find displeasing and you choose to fight or resist whatever is happening in your life at any given moment you are actually creating resistance, which puts you in a disharmonious vibration, or a lower vibrational frequency, and we all know what begins to happen then, don't we? You resonate with and begin to attract the dis-harmonious events, conditions and circumstances into your life that you are resisting. As mentioned above, you are drawing to you or attracting through your "magnetic force" the polar opposite of what you have a desire to experience.
Resistance is placing focus on what you would rather NOT have happening which is in essence creating and projecting a magnetic force which is drawing to you what it is that you are placing your predominant focus on (resisting) or DON"T have a desire to experience. This focus can only draw more of that which you are focusing on.
Gratitude on the other hand is an acceptance of things just the way they are which correlates with acceptance which in turn resonates and projects a much different resonance of energy creating a magnetic force that is conducive to attracting the "desired" outcome.
A common question that comes up is......
"How in the world can I be in a state of gratitude when everything seems to be going wrong? Let's dig down a bit deeper, analyze this a little further and you'll have a crystal clear understanding of what is actually happening.
First of all it's important to recognize the importance of accepting responsibility for whatever is going on in your life. As we've covered in The Power Of Thoughts , the events, conditions and circumstances that you're currently experiencing are manifestations based on thoughts and emotions that you've chosen at some point in the past. It's due to those thoughts and emotions which represent the seeds, that you are experiencing whatever outcome you currently are. Remember, you are the one that thinks your thoughts. Your thoughts do not think you. In the same way, the emotions experienced serve as a gauge and are a reflection of the quality of thoughts that you are thinking.
Since your current outcomes are based on what you have thought and felt at some point in the past and those outcomes are now being experienced in your life, guess who created them? YOU did!! Although that may not make you feel any better about them just yet, consider this...
Since it is you that is responsible for attracting and creating "undesirable outcomes, then isn't it also possible to change the thoughts and emotions responsible for creating them which will produce the desired result?
Absolutely!!
Simply recognizing the fact that you brought them into your life in and of itself provides you with an understanding of your creative power which in and of itself should instill a sense of gratitude that you've been provided the choice as to what you will create for your life.
Although prior to understanding how this process works you were in essence "unconsciously creating", now you can begin to "consciously create" more to express gratitude for.
Once you fully grasp and understand that your current experiences here and now are merely guideposts showing you that you are either on the right path of creating your desired outcomes or that you need to make some adjustments in your thought processes that created them, you will become empowered to express heartfelt gratitude for whatever is currently happening in your life recognizing the fact that YOU created it.
Sure...you could get mad at yourself and choose to be upset but what energy are you resonating through that choice? NOT the kind that will attract desired outcomes for sure.
Your perception of something going wrong is only your perception, that is all. A misguided perception based on false beliefs and a lack of understanding that EVERYTHING unfolds in your life perfectly just as you choose and instruct.
In the bigger scheme of things, Nothing EVER goes "wrong." It is only based on a lack of deeper understanding concerning the process of creation that you "perceive" something as going wrong. The process of creation NEVER wavers. It is, has been and always will be perfect, precise and unfailing 100% of the time.
It is only wrong thought and wrong perceptions that are responsible for igniting emotions that attract creations that show up in your life in the form of events, conditions and circumstances that you perceive as "going wrong."
It's important to recognize and express gratitude for the fact that EVERYTHING in your life is a miracle, a creation that YOU created.
Creation, regardless of how you might perceive it is ALWAYS 100% of the time a miracle. Learn to recognize that fact and express gratitude for EVERY miracle in your life and you will begin to see the life changing power that gratitude holds in creating MUCH more to be grateful for.
Those miracles (creations) which show up that aren't in harmony with your intended or desired outcomes are merely signs that YOU need to make adjustments within yourself. When you fully grasp and internalize this truth you'll learn to express gratitude for the sign that you mis-created it and that you have been provided with the evidence that will enable you to change the thoughts, emotions and perceptions which brought it into your life.
Your perceptions regarding any event, condition or circumstance are only based on a memory of something in the past that is stored in your subconscious mind and can be consciously changed if you discover that it is not in harmony with what you have a desire to accomplish.
For example, let's look at two people with totally different perceptions regarding the same situation, and see first hand what an attitude of gratitude is, and isn't.
This analogy will validate the old saying that "There's a silver lining in EVERY cloud." That's MUCH more true than most understand.
Let's say that you wake up on a Saturday morning after a good nights rest. You've worked hard all week and you're really looking forward to getting outside and playing in a golf tournament that you had entered, and enjoying your weekend of R&R. You're feeling pretty good about the day ahead of you. You make your coffee and head for the window to open the blinds. You get them opened up and look out the window. ARGGHHHHHH, it's raining outside!
Next, your self talk kicks in and it goes something like this. "Oh man, my whole day is ruined. I was planning on doing this and that and now I can't. Why do things always have to happen like that? Another weekend shot! I can't ever get a break!"
Obviously your perception is that everything went wrong and your whole weekend is ruined. Based on your thought pattern and perception, your right, it is. Unless you are able to change that perception, you'll allow yourself to have a less than desirable weekend. In fact, by remaining in this state, you will literally attract additional events, conditions, and circumstances to you that will make certain that you have a less than desirable weekend!
This is a classic case of resistance, or ungratefulness. No silver lining here right?
Now let's take a look at the neighbor down the street who always seems to have things going his way. Let's imagine it's the same scenario. He has worked all week and made plans to play in the same golf tournament that you were entered in.
He walks to the window, opens the shades and sees exactly the same situation that you did when you opened them except, although he initially has a little disappointment because he can't go to the golf tournament he was planning on, he decides that there is nothing he can do to change the situation and begins his habitual thought process and self talk which goes something like this...
"Boy I sure was looking forward to that golf tournament. Oh well, I've got a few things that need to get done around here today anyway. That means I don't have to water the grass for a few days and that will sure save a little on my water bill. It's been a few weeks since it rained and we sure needed it."
Although the person in the second example was a little disappointed initially, a conscious decision was made that wouldn't allow it to ruin the entire weekend and shifted the focus to something more positive and productive.
This is a classic case of remaining in gratitude, regardless. No resistance, no allowing undesired emotions to ignite and the end result is a harmonious vibration.
Do you see what I mean about perception? Same situation, different people, different perception, different outcome.
Although that's a "physical" example, it conveys from that perspective how varying perceptions can create completely opposite experiences.
When you have developed a crystal clear understanding that all things work for the greater good no matter how seemingly bad things may appear, it becomes much easier to stay in a state of gratitude.
When you are able to fully develop that awareness, (and with a little practice, you will) not only is it an extremely freeing experience, but you are setting your self up for a much greater flow of Abundance and Happiness being attracted and coming into your life...EVERY area of your life! When the Universe sees that you are grateful for what you have, it will send you more.
This is exactly how Universal Laws operate. The universe doesn't perceive anything as good or bad, it only sends outcomes to you based on your vibrational resonance, and your attitude concerning any given thing is exactly what determines that vibrational resonance.
God, Universal Consciousness, Super-Conscious Mind or whatever you perceive Source to be, loves each person unconditionally exactly the same and only delivers to each precisely what we are asking for, based on our individually chosen vibrational output. If that output resonates anger, fear, doubt, worry etc. the vibrational resonance that you're projecting communicates and the universe perceives that you are asking for outcomes based on that output, and that is exactly what you'll receive!
As spiritual text states it..."As you sow, so shall you reap."
On the other hand, by learning to consciously control the emotions that determine that output, and developing the ability to remain in a state of Gratitude regardless of what the situation may temporarily consist of, your vibrational output or magnetically attractive force is conducive to attracting outcomes that are in vibrational resonance with Gratitude and you can only attract to you the events, conditions and circumstances that are in alignment with Gratitude. Positive and Desired Outcomes!
We can't possibly control everything that is going on around us in the world but we can most certainly control ourselves and how we perceive what's going on.
The unwavering systems (Universal Laws) have been put into place, and you only need to learn to operate in harmony with them, which will allow you to attract the Abundance and Happiness that you desire.
Developing an attitude of gratitude is one of the most important things that you can do for attracting and manifesting the things that you desire into your life.
